The transportation tax, Measure 120, is relatively small, but is regressive. No Oregon Democratic political leaders are defending the tax they passed and there is no organized effort to support the tax -- besides the public employee unions. Also, I surprised to learn that this measure doesn't actually repeal all the transportation taxes the legisture passed -- just the select taxes the popular amoung anti-tax activists. Oregon Democrats need to sort out ODOT's problems before demanding more money.

The Oregon Historical society doesn't need Multnomah County funds nor does it seem fair that county property owners should be taxed to support a state museum.
